Building the intial platform.

3.  Install new seats and cabin linings

This is  also underway with seatbases made and I just have to get my plans together for the sewing part. The seat part will also have two biggish sub-woofers built into the underside to give vibration sensations.  Seat bases and backs are going to be slabs of foam civered in gray fabric to match the floor carpets.  The seats will be hinged in the same manner as real R22 seats for access to the underseat area - either for storage or perhaps computer components.

4.  Cabin Fittings:

The cabin came with gray carpets and some linings. These are of a good colour and reasonable condition so I'll reuse them.  The rear firewall and ceiling will need new lining but that should be fairly easy to fabricate from sheet foam and fabric.

As I think it will look with seats added and panel inserted. I plan on putting doors on it and blacking out the bubble.

As it  looks now with some of panel covers on and the partially made cyclic in place.

For the digital projector (on top of cabin) it will need some form of screen around the front of the cabin.
